This universal milling machine FP 2 LB from the renowned German manufacturer Friedrich Deckel from Munich has as a special feature an extremely stable base body and is designed as a mobile column machine, i.e. the machine does not lose accuracy when heavy parts (up to 1000 kg) are clamped.
Another special feature is the so-called inclined bed of 45 degrees. After removing the universal table, it is thus possible to clamp and machine directly engine blocks up to V with a cylinder angle of 90 degrees (e.g. American V8).
