The optional catalytic converter is controlled centrally from the oven and intelligently integrated into the programs. In the standard program, the catalytic converter is automatically switched off once it reaches 650°C (1202°F), which ensures its longevity. It can be switched on again manually until the program has finished. If the program has expired and the technician does not switch off the Magma after the acoustic signal, the control expects the use of speed investment material and therefore restarts the catalytic converter.
